About Vitruvian Farms: We are a Certified Organic vegetable and mushroom farm just outside of Madison. Our produce is available at our farm store, through our online store with home delivery options, through our CSA program, as well as at area grocery stores and restaurants. We are aiming to make a positive impact on the world by supplying our community with environmentally-conscious grown food.
About Volunteering: Individuals interested in volunteering at Vitruvian Farms have the opportunity to join our Volunteer Share Program which runs for 21 weeks starting in May each year. See below for more details and how to apply for the Volunteer Share Program.
For those interested in group volunteer opportunities, contact Marissa DeGroot at marissa@vitruvianfarms.com. We don’t always have group volunteer opportunities available but we’d love to learn more about your group and your interest.

Anyone ages 14+ are welcome to apply to volunteer at Vitruvian Farms.
While we do, on occasion, have minors volunteer with us please keep in mind that volunteer responsibilities can be extremely physically demanding. These are volunteer positions but do require a high level of attention to detail and physical exertion.
Please contact Marissa DeGroot at marissa@vitruvianfarms.com if you have someone under 14 years old who has interest in volunteering.

At this time, we do not have the ability to invite volunteers out for one-day opportunities.
Much of what we do is highly detailed work that takes many weeks for our volunteers to learn, which is why our Volunteer Share Program runs for 21 weeks in order to allow volunteers to learn and become proficient.
Our hope is in the future to be able to run one-day volunteer opportunities to allow folks to help us during peak work times.

Here is what to expect:
The commitment is 4 hours of volunteer work per week at Vitruvian Farms (2727 US Hwy 51, McFarland)
Volunteering starts 3 weeks before the first CSA box (around early or mid May) and runs for 21 weeks
